2: There is a 5% cancellation charge of the total booking amount for all pre-paid bookings.

3: Unless specified otherwise, bookings can be cancelled up to 1pm 48 hours prior to the day of arrival using Email admin@theglen.co.uk or by Registered post sent to The Glen, Westlinton, Carlisle, United Kingdom CA6 6AB with full details of your Booking along with the Transaction Number on your Receipt. Cancelling later than 48 hours will incur a charge for one night's stay per room booked.

4: If leaving early from a multi-night stay, please advise reception. If the first night of a multi-night stay is missed, that night will be charged for and the rest of the reservation cancelled.

5: All bedrooms in The Glen are now non-smoking.

6: Pets can accompany guests up to 2 pets per room. There is a charge of £5 (£2 for Static Home) per pet. Please advise The Glen when filling out your booking form or after booking by phone or email.

7: Check in is from 3pm and departure is before 12 noon.

8: Breakfast is included in your room rate unless otherwise stated. Cooked breakfast is available from 8am to 10am. Evening meals from 5:30pm to 8:30pm (The Static Home is self catering, therefore does not include breakfast). The Glen reserves the right to periodically review its room prices. Any increased price will be advised at time of booking. For details of our room prices, please check via the online booking facility or call our Internet Helpdesk on 01228 672364.

9: If you resell a room, you must inform The Glen who will actually be staying in the room(s) booked in writing prior to their check-in.

10: Telephones in the rooms can be used free of charge to call UK landline numbers only. Any mobile numbers called will be at a charge of £1 per minute to your credit card. Wireless Broadband is provided free of charge and due to the nature of the connection The Glen can not be held responsible to provide this service.

11: We have the right to cancel your Booking due to unforseen circumstances. You will receive a full refund of all monies you have paid to The Glen.

12: There is £50 security to be paid for on arrival for the Static Home by cheque, cash or card. This will be returned on handing back the home as it was let.
